Time intensity curves in a healthy volunteer. Representative time intensity curves (TIC) are shown from the 2nd,4th,6thand 8thslices on a segment basis. Six segments were used for the 2nd,4thand 6thslices (basal to mid-short axis levels), and four segments were used for the 8thslice (apical level). All TICs show homogenous myocardial enhancement, consistent with normal perfusion. Flickering artifacts caused by errors in coil sensitivity map estimation were observed (see an arrow in the 8thslice). The artifacts are most severe at the start of LV enhancement, but have no significant effect on the TIC upslope.
