Contrast to noise (CNR) values at different time points after the infusion of MnCl 2 using different sequences. Both 2D and 3D gradient-echo inversion recovery (GRE-IR) sequences showed the greatest increase in CNR compared to baseline than Phase contrast inversion recovery (IR) and IR steady state free precession (SSFP). There were no significant CNR differences among each sequence immediately, at 15 or 30 minutes after the infusion of MnCl2.
