A) MBF is shown for two specific animals as a function of the cardiac cycle: Rat 1 with a heart rate of 370 bpm (black diamonds) and Rat 3 with a heart rate of 260 bpm (grey triangles). B) The variation ΔMBFCycl was higher for Rat 3 (42% at rest and 31% during stress) compared to Rat 1 (24% at rest and 9% during stress).
