The ratio of diastolic to systolic myocardial blood flow at stress was significantly lower for territories with coronary artery disease (CAD) than in normal territories (1.07 ± 0.06 vs. 1.17 ± 0.11; p < 0.0001). On receiver-operator characteristic analysis, the diagnostic accuracy (area under the curve) of this ratio to detect significant CAD was 0.79. The optimal cut-off value for the ratio was 1.10, which gave a sensitivity of 82% and specificity of 76%.Back to article page
