ADC measurements of LRNC from 3D DP-TSE images and comparison. (A) The mean ADC measured from DP-TSE images in LRNC areas was significantly lower (0.60 ± 0.16 × 10−3 mm2/s) than that of the fibrous plaque tissue (1.27 ± 0.29 × 10−3 mm2/s) and normal wall tissue (1.42 ± 0.38 × 10−3 mm2/s) with p < 0.01. (B) The mean ADC of LRNC measured from DP-TSE images in this study compared with results from previous in vivo (Kim, Young) and ex vivo (Qiao, Toussaint) studies.
