Both diameters measured as the distance between centers of corresponding and opposite cross-sections along the diameter of interest. (b) Two planes positioned on through-plane velocity-encoded MR images at the annulus level (red) and one centimeter distal of the annulus (yellow) resulted in two cross-sectional images of the through-plane velocity (c, d) in which the flow through MV was outlined and used to define circularity index of MV flow.
