The refBlochi T1 map of the phantom (a) and the comparison between refBlochi T1 and the true T1 values shows excellent agreement (R2 = 0.99) (b,c). Seven scan protocols were tested, and T1 s ranged from 200 to 560 ms. The basic scan protocol used TR/α/N/RR/TI of 3.8 ms/15°/37/800 ms/300 ms. Then N, TR, SNR, RR interval and α were varied. Measurement of bias and standard deviation for refBlochi demonstrated good accuracy (−3 ± 9 ms) (c)
