Postoperative suture dehiscence: Postoperative suture dehiscence with consecutive aneurysm at the distal aortic suture line 1-year after David procedure in a 20-year-old man with Marfan syndrome. Both (a, b) non-contrast 2D bSSFP and (c, d) 3D CE-CMRA demonstrate the aneurysm (arrows) with high image quality (4 points by both readers). The CMR-based diagnosis was confirmed with (e, f) computed tomography angiography. The patient underwent immediate surgical revision with re-replacement of the aortic root for treatment of his potentially life-threating complication.
