Example cases (a) 68 year-old man with prior inferior myocardial infarction who received appropriate ICD therapy. Larger sphericity index of 0.73 as well as severe LV dysfunction (LVEF = 18%) was documented although LGE-CMR image showed only a small area of focal subendocardial inferior wall enhancement. b 61 year-old man with an extensive anteroseptal myocardial infarction who did not receive ICD therapy. Sphericity index was 0.48, however there is marked dyskinesis with LVEF 21% on the LV apex and transmural LGE were observed
