Incremental prognostic power of AAPSE. Sequential Cox-regression analysis was performed to evaluate the incremental predictive power of AAPSE for transplant-free survival in an (a) imaging (LGE and GLS; χ2 = 10.2) and a (b) clinical prediction model (NT-proBNP and Karnofsky Index; χ2 = 15.4). AAPSE significantly improved the predictive power of both models (imaging: AAPSE ∆χ2 = 5.8, p = 0.02; clinical: AAPSE ∆χ2 = 6.2, p = 0.01)
