As compared with healthy control subjects, patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) had a significantly lower stroke volume index (SVI), left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) and cardiac index (CI) than controls with similar left ventricular end-diastolic (EDVI) and end-systolic (ESVI) volume indexes and myocardial mass index (massI). *p < 0.05 between groups
