Hyper-acute T1 mapping was used to quantify AAR and infarct severity. Despite a relatively similar AAR (LV%), patients with less-elevated average T1 value within the AAR (< 1400 ms; top row) had smaller final infarct sizes at 6 months compared to patients with higher T1 values within the AAR (≥1400 ms)
