Dynamic MBF mapping. Twenty one consecutive color-coded short-axis perfusion (MBF) maps resulting from a measurement series over the cardiac cycle. The color scale is in mL g^-1 min^-1. Data are shown from the same normal rat heart at rest (top) and during stress (bottom) while 280 μg kg^-1 min^-1 of adenosine were administered intravenously inside the magnet. Images were acquired using the cine-ASL sequence with in-plane resolution and slice thickness of 312 × 625 μm² and 2 mm, respectively.
