Estimated change in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) parameters over time, according to presence vs. absence of clinical outcome. Red line and points denote clinical outcome and blue line and points denote no clinical outcome. A significant change over time was observed in both groups for all CMR parameters. However, those with the composite outcome (red line) had a greater increase in end-diastolic volume index (EDVI) and end-systolic volume index (ESVI) and a greater decline in mass-to-volume ratio over time as compared to those without (blue line). There was no difference in the change over time in mass index, ejection fraction (EF), or end-systolic wall stress (ESWS) for those who did vs. did not experience the composite outcome
